Patrick Towbin

Patrick Towbin is the Vice President of Operations of Siemens Government Technologies (SGT), Inc., the separate but affiliated U.S. government arm of technology powerhouse Siemens. With project teams across the U.S. and internationally, SGT is a cleared provider of Siemens products, technologies and software to solve some of the most complex government challenges in energy, automation and digitalization.

With over two decades of experience working in energy services for commercial and federal customers, Towbin possesses the broad skills required in this rapidly evolving federal marketplace. He leads, develops and implements successful, profitable projects across Siemens.

Prior to joining SGT, Towbin was the Senior Vice President of DCO Energy in Atlantic City, NJ, where he directed operations along the Eastern Seaboard and the Caribbean for a range of programs from business development to project execution. In 2013, Towbin served on the Board of Directors for PEPCO Millennium Account Services, where he oversaw a multi-utility data and metering company serving electric, water and gas to retailers. From 2011 to 2016, as Vice President of Asset Management, Towbin managed several power and thermal plants where his responsibilities ranged from operations to financial analysis.

In 2014, Towbin was awarded The IDEA Innovation Award for his chiller plant optimization. The following year, in 2015, he received the Energy Star CHP Award from the EPA and DOE for plant efficiency.

Along with his award-winning accolades and multiple trade certifications, Towbin is a veteran and served in the Vermont National Guard and in the U.S. Naval Reserve. Towbin is also a Registered Professional Engineer with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration.
