Alia Drescher is CFO of SI Buildings as of October 2024. Over the last 5 years she was the CFO for SI RSS and Region Europe.
She moved to Buildings Business in April 2020 after spending 2 years in the Siemens AG Headquarters’ where she was responsible for the execution of the shareholder function for all the group’s companies.
Before her move to Germany, Alia Drescher has spent more than two decades in the Middle East Region, where she has worked in various countries, covering different markets in the region and holding multiple leadership positions within the company; last of which CFO of Middle East Region. All the while, focusing on strengthening key growth areas, driving profitability and promoting diversity and local value creation.
Syria-born Alia Drescher (maiden name Al Rifai), holds a BA Degree from the University of Damascus. And a holder of Post Graduate Diploma from ESMT – Berlin.
She is a strong proponent of digital transformation, talent development and ownership culture.
