Autumn Proctor

When Autumn Proctor joined Siemens Government Technologies in 2022 as an intern, she was looking for an opportunity to begin her professional career.

What she found was something more: a workplace where collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning created the foundation for long-term growth.

Before her first day, Autumn had already heard about SGT's people-focused culture. It wasn't long before she experienced it firsthand.

"What initially drew me to SGT was hearing about the culture of the company," she says. "As I started my role as an intern supporting our infrastructure & energy solutions business, I experienced that culture for myself and how supportive all of my coworkers were in ensuring I learned everything I needed and wanted to learn."

That environment gave Autumn the confidence to grow quickly. Over the past four years, she has progressed from intern to project manager, taking on increasing responsibility while helping deliver projects that support critical government missions.

Today, Autumn helps ensure the successful execution of the contracts she manages, providing customers with turnkey solutions that keep their facilities operating and their missions moving forward without interruption. While much of her work happens behind the scenes, she understands that every successful project contributes to the reliability and readiness federal customers depend on every day.

One milestone that stands out in her journey came during the 2026 Innovation & Leadership Summit, when she was named a finalist for the Transform SGT Achievement Award. Having been with the company for just three and a half years, the recognition came as a surprise and a meaningful reminder that her contributions were making a difference. Just as meaningful has been the support of her coworkers, whose willingness to mentor, encourage, and share their knowledge has helped shape her growth every step of the way.

"My coworkers have been the biggest influence on my experience at SGT. There is a strong culture of teamwork that allows everyone to succeed and ensures our customers are happy."

By learning from experienced colleagues, attending customer meetings, and pursuing professional certifications, Autumn has continued expanding her skills while gaining exposure to different areas of the business. She believes those opportunities and the willingness of others to invest in her success have accelerated her development far beyond what she expected early in her career.

For Autumn, the journey from intern to project manager reflects what makes SGT unique: a culture where people are encouraged to learn, trusted to grow, and supported every step of the way. "All of my coworkers are very supportive of one another and are more than happy to make time to help someone else's growth," she says. "That's what makes SGT such a great place to build a career."
