Siemens Government Services, Inc. (SGS), Board of Directors, is extremely pleased to announce the election of David B. Patterson as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Further, by unanimous consent of the Board, Mr. Patterson has also been elected as a member of the SGS Board of Directors. His new positions became effective as of March 30, 2007.
Mr. Patterson has a distinguished 28 year career highlighted by leading the start−up of many successful businesses for Fluor Corporation, Day & Zimmerman and various Siemens entities. He has also held significant responsibility for manufacturing and plant engineering functions in the automotive components and chemical processing industries.
Mr. Patterson joined Siemens in 2001 as Director of the Asset Performance Services division of Siemens Industrial Services, where he was responsible for the U.S. maintenance management and consulting business. Since then, he has served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Siemens Maintenance Services, a technical services company focused on the installation and support of Homeland Security systems and equipment. Most recently, Mr. Patterson held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Siemens Government Services.
In his new role, Mr. Patterson will hold top level management and overall leadership responsibility for the company. His excellent leadership skills will greatly contribute to the enhancement of the company’s superior execution capabilities and continued excellence in relation to SGS’ focus on quality and customer service as we move forward to achieve profitable growth in the federal market.
